Clutch
Best example of clutch: Michael Johnson.
Kid’s a beast, and blew up this game. 2 HUGE stops in the final 30 seconds of the game to save the victory for Tech.
Anti-clutch: A-Rod, of course
Lots has been made of his suckingness in postseason play. The cool guys say that he can’t hack it, and that he’s useless in the big moments. The really cool people point out that his career post-season numbers are similar to, if not better than, Jeter. Well, here are the stats for the two players since A-Rod became a Yankee:
I linked some pictures with all the data, but I’ll also post the relevant total stats below. The images are kinda cool b/c you can watch A-Rod’s steady decline as the pressure on him to produce grows.

(AB/H…HR/RBI/R…SO/BB…BA/OBP/SLG/OPS)
Jeter: 85/27 4/15/16 13/0 .318/.383/.529/.912
A-Rod: 79/19 3/8/13 16/12 .241/.341/.430/.771
I’m not a huge baseball stats genius, but it’s fun to talk about
