The Challenge
$1000 in 1 weeks time. That’s the goal. All of the money will come from online poker sites (play, bonuses, rakeback) and online casinos (play, bonuses). The challenge starts at 12:00:00am on Sunday, March 20th and continues until 11:59:59pm on Saturday, March 26th.

Why do this challenge?
I have been slacking off a lot lately because of school, so this is my plan to get me back on the right track. Hopefully I can prove to myself that I can put in the effort and make money at this. As my reward, I will be buying a Seagull S6 acoustic guitar off eBay. I’m not sure which one I want, but something like this will definitely do just fine.

So, how are you making this money?
All online poker sites, and online casinoes offer bonuses to keep people playing there. You have to deposit a certain amount of money (usually around $600-$1000) and then play a certain number of hands, and you get the bonus. I have accounts at 10 different poker sites currently, so there are plenty of bonuses to be had. Likewise, casinos offer sign up bonuses, most of which can be worked off with blackjack. When played with the best possible strategy, blackjack minimizes the house advantage, and leaves you with an expected profit.
Right now, I have $225 in bonuses to clear at Intertops Poker. Also, I am going to deposit for the $200 bonus at Party Poker in the next couple of days. Assuming good play, I should be able to get $500 out of that. Both of those bonuses will expire by Saturday, so I will play through them first. Also, I have $180 in bonus money at Paradise Poker, and $120 in bonus money at PokerStars. Both of these bonuses never expire, and I don’t like the sites that much, so I will be playing there sparingly, and work off whatever I can.
